What is Frostpunk: The Roleplaying Game?
In Frostpunk: The Roleplaying Game, you and your fellow players step into the roles of survivors in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world. You are tasked with managing the last city on Earth, facing the challenges of extreme cold, dwindling resources, and moral dilemmas that test the very foundations of society. As leaders in this desperate struggle for survival, you must make tough decisions to ensure the city's survival while dealing with external threats and internal conflicts.
Dive into Frostpunk's immersive character development where your character's attributes define what they do well, while a diverse array of skills—from combat prowess to engineering acumen and scholarly wisdom—boost your chances of survival in a relentless, frozen world. Navigate this dynamic skill system with Dice Core, where skills are linked to specific attributes to form a dice pool that offers strategic depth and challenging gameplay.
Every decision you make can improve or weaken your chances at success as you change the dice you roll. This adds an element of unpredictability while also rewarding you for careful choices and tactical thinking—and adds difficulty when mistakes pile up. You’ll have to deal with social tensions as you manage Hope and Discontent in a city, manage scarce resources such as coal, food, and wood to endure and thrive in the harsh, icy wasteland, explore expansive frozen landscapes to uncover hidden secrets, vital resources, and potential allies or adversaries. All this to preserve a fragile society and maintain the idea that there is something for people to strive for.

What are some Gameplay Features?
- Immersive Character Development: Attributes define your character's strengths, while a wide array of skills—ranging from combat to engineering to scholarship—boost your chances of success in the harsh, unforgiving world of Frostpunk. Shape your character's destiny with difficult choices and gameplay that keeps you on your toes.
- Dynamic Skill System: Dice Core employs a unique system where skills are linked to specific attributes, ensuring each skill is paired with its corresponding trait but you also may have flexibility in which dice you improve or worsen. Your decisions will lead to immediate rewards and penalties, without having to keep track of a string of modifiers.
- Feat Rolls and Feat Pools: For every action that demands a dice roll to determine success or failure, players build a Feat Pool with dice, attempting to roll high enough to succeed.
- Resource Management: Campaign play features the management of scarce resources such as coal, food, and wood, all crucial for survival in the harsh frozen wasteland. The balances between Hope and Discontent, and Faith and Order also need to be managed.
- Exploration and Discovery: Explore the frozen landscape to uncover secrets, resources, and potential allies or adversaries hidden in the icy wilderness.
